A very neat book documenting the last and maybe only built structure from Lebbeus Woods; beautifully explained, shows a lot of photographs from the main building and the effect of the installation towards the viewer and the city along with plans and some sketches. A great piece

Very good, could benefit from more images of completed work.

This little book is very nice, especially for its price. The essays in it are very well written and useful in understanding the work on display in the images. The photography and reproductions are lovely, but there are too many "under construction" images, and not enough of the completed work. I'm not sure, but maybe the book was slightly rushed to publication?
At any rate it does give a good sense of the work. However, given the complexity of the constructed space as viewed from within the Pavilion itself, they could have easily included a dozen or more additional images from various perspectives either as one traverses the walkway through the structure or from some of those "impossible to see as a tourist" angles that professional photographers are often allowed to get their cameras into for publications such as this.
It really is a fascinating structure, and since it is on the other side of the world (from me), it is one that I am not likely to ever get to see in person. My hope is that there may be a Stephen Holl monograph forthcoming that will detail the equally fascinating larger project (the Sliced Porosity Block) of which the Light Pavilion is a part. Maybe a larger, more in depth book such as that would also have space for more images of "Time Light" as, apparently, the locals have come to call it.
Lastly, books by and about Lebbeus Woods are relatively scarce, and can be very expensive, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in his work.
