Don't Waste Your Time OR Money.

First, let me start off by saying this is a short story.
I wasn't paying attention when I purchased this book and I was VERY disappointed when the book ended so suddenly because their relationship was just beginning.
With that said, I think this story would be a good introduction for a full length novel (with some changing of a few details included).
On to the review... SPOILERS INCLUDED.
This novel seems rushed, unrealistic at some parts.
For example:
1. Anika was dead set on losing her virginity before she turned 30... for what purpose?
I didn't understand her sudden rush and her willingness to pick ANY man for the job.
Why did she have to be so desperate?
Her reasoning didn't match her desperation (2).
2. Anika's reasoning for wanting to lose her virginity didn't make any sense to me.
You're sick of being up tight so you decide the only way to loosen up is to give it up... to ANYBODY?
Loosen up by changing up your hair, or buy a freakum dress, or wax your vagina... do something different.
I just didn't understand why she went so drastic with it.
3. You're sick of being hurt and lied to by men so you decide to open your legs to any loser that steps to you?
Wouldn't being hurt and lied to cause you to keep your legs close even more?
4. Anika seemed to want to lose her virginity to someone who she would never and could never have feelings for; why didn't she contact one of her ex's?
I mean she wasn't looking for a relationship or a guy with standards; she wanted a booty call.
I think it may have been safer to hit up a guy you've dealt with in the past and have some sort of history with instead of some new d*ck.
5. She was supposed to be uptight and a girl that followed the rules, why would you risk your safety looking for random stray d*ck!?!
Was she not afraid of STDs?
I just found it weird that she was the uptight kind but didn't think twice about her health... condoms don't protect everything 100% of the time.
6. Anika was supposedly a diehard Sixer's fan; how come she didn't realize and recognize Travon's cousin Kwan in the club? Kwan was the rookie player for the Sixers (her favorite team) and she didn't realize who he was?
In my opinion, if you're a huge fan of any team, you track at least the main players and Kwan was one of them.
This wasn't a huge detail in the storyline but it rubbed me the wrong way.
The main thing that I HATED was that Treyvon (Trey) told her that he had very strong feelings for her and that he could fall in love with her and she was STILL trying to avoid him because she liked him too much???!
THAT DROVE ME CRAZY!
This man has been pursing you and being open and honest with you but you're scared to have a real relationship with him because you like him too much?
What woman in her right mind do you know would not try to pursue a relationship with a drop dead sexy, employed, funny, independent man that's crazy about you and that you've ALREADY SLEPT WITH?
I've never heard of that... never.
With all that said, I would not recommend this book because it's so incomplete in my eyes.
Like I stated earlier, I think this could be used as an introduction to a full length novel with a few changes and edits.
I would give it 0 stars, but I can't.

Not My Favorite

You can tell this was a book she wrote and forgot about and found on her computer. This was not as good as Ms. Daniels other books that I've read & I didn't enjoy this book at all. I haven't read the other book that she said this was kind of like and or will remind you of but I know this book was a disappointment.

You want to do what?

Normally I enjoy reading Angies books, but this one I just plain did not like. I mean why on earth would a person go trolling in a club to find a man to help her lose her viginity? That was just too creepy for words. Then,the main character sets her sights on a man or should I say boy that's even "Greener" then she is. When that doesn't work, she ends up with his cousin or self appointed bodyguard. I think this story was just too rushed and just ended too quickly. The author must had to pull something out quickly in order to meet a deadline. My advice use your money for another one of her other books. This one just wasn't worth the money, the time or the download.
