Great Series, Great book, But...

Okay, so I've read all six books. This is one of my favorite vampire series I've read. This book was just as good as all the rest, but so repetitive. Forrest finds ways to recap things that have happened in previous books, which is I guess nice for the people who just randomly decide to read book from this series that isn't book one...but for all the rest of us who have read from book one, I'm pretty sure we don't need a constant recap, every single book of what has happened in previous books. For example, if you've read all the books up until this one, you know that from the very first book Vivienne is a Seer and the Seer of the Shade...in every single book that follows we are told in some paragraph of another that Vivienne is the Seer of the Shade, etc.,etc. This was just a mild example, it gets very frustrating and I actually find myself skipping paragraphs that involve recaps of previous books because I've read it so many times I can't stand to read it one more time!

Giving up

I couldn't do it. I read the first 4 books. The first few were good, but I was really struggling with just how much turmoil was rotating around this couple. Can we not just have one bad guy, maybe two at the most? There are so many bad guys, bad guys turned good, guys who may or may not be bad, and good guys turned bad that I can't even keep up with who I'm rooting for. I got 20% through this book and decided to screw it and move on to another author. It's just too stressful to read, and I can clearly predict where it's going.

Stunning, compelling, Amazing

The eagerly awaited A Shade of Vampire Book 5 is here, titled A Blaze Of Sun. I was thrilled to be asked to review an Arc copy of the book, yes I felt like I was holding gold dust.
We all know how amazingly stunning these books are and this one is no different. So just to clarify guys, I don't do spoilers and this book is THAT AMAZING I am having to sticky tape my mouth so I don't give it away, because you really, really, really need to READ this book.
Ok, so what can I tell you............. Derek and Sofia are as much in love as they always are and talking of getting married. Aiden is still held in the cells. Sofia is in charge of the catacombs, trying to organise the humans into helping protect the shade against the upcoming war. In the beginning Sofia and Derek don't spend a lot of time together, there's always something to keep busy with. There are forces working to separate Sofia and Derek - will they succeed? Then war breaks out - the shade is in danger...............
Ok guys I know, but I CANT tell you anymore than that I don't want to spoil it for you. Like the others A Blaze Of Sun had me on the edge of my seat I couldn't put it down, I think at one stage I maybe could of growled, for getting disturbed. The look alone could of turned someone into stone.
The danger with a series of books is that after the first or second your attention will start to fade or the series could of been wrapped up at 3, Bella Forrest is Super talented, this book is just as amazing as A Shade of Vampire.
**This Is your Warning - once you have the book in your possession, you need to come up with an excuse to lock your self away, take supplies with you- wine/coffee/snacks. Be prepared to lose a few hours. And most importantly a huge DO-NOT DISTURB sign. Don't say you were not warned**
Bella this book is Fantastic, it pulls you under its spell and never lets go, I thank you for a stunning, compelling book.
This book gets 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.
